Our Team





Owner, Manager and Swim Instructor


Tim has been involved in the health and fitness industry for over 30 years, his first ever job when he left school was as a swimming teacher and lifeguard at the local baths. He has set up and run many Health Clubs in the country culminating in setting up and running The Savoy Groups first Health Club within one of its hotels. During this time he worked under the famous swimming teacher Pierre Gruneberg who taught the likes of Picasso, Tina Turner, Jackie Onassis, Charlie Chaplin, to name but a few. For ten years Tim worked as a freelance Personal Trainer, Swimming Teacher, Tennis Coach and Massage Therapist , keeping fit & coaching the great, the good, and the famous of the Cotswolds. He also runs The Physio Company in Solihull and Knowle with his wife Becci but his passion is teaching children and adults to swim and he loves nothing more than seeing his pupils progress and enjoy their time in the water.





Senior Teacher


Jayne is a teaching assistant at St. Alphege School in Solihull. She has been a Swimming Instructor for Heather Bradbury for many years and offers a wealth of experience. Jayne works very hard in correcting stroke techniques and is also a qualified timekeeper for the ASA. Jayne is one of our Senior teachers and is an asset to our team.



Lisa has everlasting energy which the children bounce off! She does all sorts of fitness classes all over Solihull including aqua areobics and body pump, and is a Les Mills Fitness Instructor. Lisa is also another of our Senior Instructors and we love having her infectious energy here at Simply Swimming.




Swim Instructor

Dave is great with our children here at Simply Swimming. He is always giving positive feedback to the children and is always applauding their performance. Dave’s a very talented musician and is a drummer in band, watch out X factor! He currently teaches our water polo squad and has some great drills and teaching points









Swim Instructor


Nicky has been involved in swimming since the age of 4. She swam competitively from the age of 8-17 and represented Warwickshire at the nationals. Nicky has been teaching swimming for 16 years and feels swimming is a vital life skill that all children and adults should have. Nicky’s passion is working with children with SEN and seeing how they progress in the water. One thing many people don’t know about Nicky is that she used to love crazy hair colours and her favourite was bright pink!
