Tim has been involved in the health and fitness industry for over 30 years, his first ever job when he left school was as a swimming teacher and lifeguard at the local baths. He has set up and run many Health Clubs in the country culminating in setting up and running The Savoy Groups first Health Club within one of its hotels. During this time he worked under the famous swimming teacher Pierre Gruneberg who taught the likes of Picasso, Tina Turner, Jackie Onassis, Charlie Chaplin, to name but a few. For ten years Tim worked as a freelance Personal Trainer, Swimming Teacher, Tennis Coach and Massage Therapist , keeping fit & coaching the great, the good, and the famous of the Cotswolds. He also runs The Physio Company in Solihull and Knowle with his wife Becci but his passion is teaching children and adults to swim and he loves nothing more than seeing his pupils progress and enjoy their time in the water.
Assistant Manager and Swim Instructor
Charlotte was one of the top sprint freestyle swimmers in the country in her former swimming days and she has wide range of skills and understanding within the swimming industry. In 2008 she was selected onto the British swimming programme for two years where she was surrounded by some of the top athletes and coaches in Great Britain. She achieved national medalist status in the UK and was ranked within the top 10 in Europe for the 50m Freestyle. Charlotte won sportswoman of the year for Solihull and in 2009 she was offered a full scholarship to swim in the USA, where she broke a national record and won 5 national titles. She is a very enthusiastic teacher, she loves teaching kids to swim and believes that swimming should be enjoyed as well as taught.

Carol has worked for Heather Bradbury Swimming for just under 13 years providing administrative support. Bringing a wealth of experience with her, having worked in Customer service based companies, 15 years in overseas travel, 6 years in the serviced office space industry and 4 years as Office Manager for the Metropole Hotel Conference & Banqueting Department. During a career break to bring up her twin daughters and whilst they were having swimming lessons with “Heather Bradbury” she noticed a job advertised for part-time PA, two interviews later and the rest is history.
Jayne is a teaching assistant at St. Alphege School in Solihull. She has been a Swimming Instructor for Heather Bradbury for many years and offers a wealth of experience. Jayne works very hard in correcting stroke techniques and is also a qualified timekeeper for the ASA. Jayne is one of our Senior teachers and is an asset to our team.
Lisa has everlasting energy which the children bounce off! She does all sorts of fitness classes all over Solihull including aqua areobics and body pump, and is a Les Mills Fitness Instructor. Lisa is also another of our Senior Instructors and we love having her infectious energy here at Simply Swimming.
Michelle is another of our senior teachers, She has taught for us for many years now and is absolutely brilliant with the little children. Michelle is based at our Reynalds Cross pool and her son is doing some assistant teaching with us.
Dave is great with our children here at Simply Swimming. He is always giving positive feedback to the children and is always applauding their performance. Dave’s a very talented musician and is a drummer in band, watch out X factor! He currently teaches our water polo squad and has some great drills and teaching points
Amber is a superb swimmer herself. She’s a national masters swimmer and competes all over the country, so her understanding of the sport is very up to date, with the most current training drills at her finger tips. Amber also teaches dance alongside swimming teaching and can do all sorts of backflips!! Ambers teaching skills are brilliant and the children love her
Nicky has been involved in swimming since the age of 4. She swam competitively from the age of 8-17 and represented Warwickshire at the nationals. Nicky has been teaching swimming for 16 years and feels swimming is a vital life skill that all children and adults should have. Nicky’s passion is working with children with SEN and seeing how they progress in the water. One thing many people don’t know about Nicky is that she used to love crazy hair colours and her favourite was bright pink!
Ellie is a school teacher at Dorridge Infant and Primary school. She has been teaching for us for many years and is really good with correcting strokes. She absolutely loves doing the elite teaching with us on a Friday and has a great rapport with the swimmers. She is the daughter of Brian who had been with us for many years teaching Elite and water polo
